Verification Visit by TETFund on Conference Attendance Intervention

VERIFICATION VISIT BY TETFUND ON CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE INTERVENTION

This is to inform members of the University of Jos Community that the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) is undertaking a Verification exercise to authenticate the conduct of the Conference Attendance Programme sponsored by TETFund in the University of Jos. This is part of TETfund’s efforts to appraise the effect of the Intervention Programme by maximizing value for money and to offer support where necessary.

In view of the this, Management has directed all Academic and Non-Teaching Staff of the University who have attended both local and international Conferences through TETfund sponsorship from 2011 to 2019 to immediately present documentary evidence of their participation in the Programme. Documents expected to be submitted by the benefitting Staff include Certificate/Evidence of Conference Attendance, Visa Page of Conference, Travel History and, in case of foreign Conference, Entry and Exit Stamp on the Visa Page of their International Passport.

These documents should be submitted to the TETfund Verification Team through the University’s Training and Development Unit, Senate/Administrative Building, Naraguta Campus on or before Wednesday 16^th September, 2020.

All affected Staff are advised to urgently comply.
