UNIJOS ICT DIRECTORATE GETS NEW HEADS OF UNIT

Twelve Senior Staff of the University of Jos Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Directorate have been appointed as Heads of Units in the Directorate. These include six (6) Heads of Units and Six (6) Coordinators.

Among the newly appointed Unit Heads are Engineer John Pwajok as Head of Engineering and Maintenance Services (EMS) Unit, Engineer Ayodeji Mamudu as Head of Network and Internet Services (NIS) Unit, Mr  Pamson  Dagyat as Head of Corporate Information Services (CIS) Unit and Mrs Abiola Tom-Omo-Fregene as Head of Training and Development Services (TDS) Unit. Others are Mr Joel Gogwim as Head of Industry Training Services (ITS) Unit and Mr Joseph Eseyin as Head of User  Support Services Unit.

Those appointed as Coordinators are Mr. Ofonsodian D. Umoren as Coordinator, Cluster F; Mr Musa Toro as Coordinator Cluster E; Mr Jones Abakpa as Coordinator, Cluster D. Other newly appointed Coordinators are Engineer Rwat Longs as Coordinator, Cluster C, Mr Nanpak  Zuzul as Coordinator,  Cluster B, and Engineer Selbar Lohfa as Coordinator,  Cluster A.

The newly appointed Unit Heads will be responsible to the ICT Director for the smooth running of the Units in the Directorate while those appointed as Coordinators will be responsible to the Director for the Coordination of the delivery of services and management of the resources in their Clusters.

According to the appointment letters signed by Mr Benjamin Jang, Acting Director of ICT, University of Jos, all the appointments have been approved by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Seddi Sebastian Maimako and take effect from 22^nd March, 2019.
