COVID-19: UniJos Goes on Break

                                             ANNOUNCEMENT

ONE MONTH CLOSURE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF JOS TO STUDENTS AS PART OF MEASURES TO CONTAIN THE SPREAD OF CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) PANDEMIC
The Vice-Chancellor on behalf of Senate of the University of Jos has approved the closure of the University to all Students for a period of one month. This follows the Federal Government’s directive through the National Universities Commission (NUC) that all Universities should shut down for one month as part of measures to contain and prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Accordingly, all Students of the University of Jos are to proceed on break as from Monday 23rd March, 2020 to resume on Friday 24th April, 2020.
However, all Staff of the University are to continue discharging their official duties as scheduled.
The Vice-Chancellor wishes all Students of the University safety as they journey back home and joins the global community in praying for a quick solution to this global health challenge.
