Resumption of Administrative Activities for Officers on CONTISS 13 and Above

ANNOUNCEMENT

RESUMPTION OF ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIVITIES FOR OFFICERS ON CONTISS 13 AND ABOVE AND THOSE ON ESSENTIAL SERVICES

Management of the University of Jos hereby requests all Administrative and Technical Staff on CONTISS 13 and above to resume work with immediate effect. This is consequent upon the Federal Government’s directive for Public Servants on Grade Level 14 and above to resume work and the relaxation of the lockdown order as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic by the Plateau State Government.

All staff on essential duties are to continue with their normal work while all Secretaries, Secretarial Assistants and Computer Operators are also requested to resume work immediately.

All Heads of Departments and Units are permitted to recall any other staff they consider relevant to the successful running of the affairs of their respective offices. To this end, all staff are to note that their attention may be required in the University from time to time.

As Management looks forward to having the affected staff back on Campus, they are strongly advised to abide by the COVID-19 safety and precautionary measures including the frequent washing of hands with soap and running water, the constant use of hand sanitizers, use of preventive face-masks and the observance of social distancing.
